BATS BANNED!!!!!
From the national Dixie Youth Board of Directors:
Subject: Fwd: Composite Bat Moratorium for 2011 I would like to make each of you aware that Dixie Youth Baseball has banned all composite bats beginning with the 2011 playing season. This ban is for composite barreled bats only! Bats which have a composite handle and an aluminum barrel will still be approved provided they are marked on the barrel as approved. Please pass this information to your leagues as soon as possible to avoid further controversy.
